you won't catch me
(maybe stupid, if at all)
rode the whole night
up against the sweating wall
but my eyes taste
bleeding brass with ugly tones
moving, changing
should've left the thing alone
but here we are
at last young love!
but it won't come to you
no, at least not until today
found a rhyme and in time we will know
how it works in a song
and how it ain't so wrong to play
my kingdom come! i will be dumb
when they're totin' in the new lusugnu
know exactly how it's done
even when it's flung upon ya
my friends, they know
and they're laughing as she loses her mind
it'll work real soon?
at last young love!
but it won't come to you
no, at least not until today
found a rhyme and in time we will know
how it works in a song
and how it ain't so wrong to play
It's certainly a nice mix of sounds, from slow to banging dance tracks, industrial beats, techno feats, where new and old skool sounds unite! Even a hip/hop vibe on the track 'Miss America (Turtle Soup) Feat. Kofi The Spiderman)' which works so, so well! This album is certainly a must buy. If you purchase via Bandcamp you get 3 limited edition remix tracks not available from anywhere else! dj_trilobyte
Liverpool's Luke Mawdsley uses pitchshifted vocals and industrial textures to create darkly experimental, painfully intimate music. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 11, 2020
Dark synthpop/darkwave that succeeds mightily in crafting compelling moods and movements with brilliant songwriting. At times there’s almost an alt-rock vibe, but overall the sound makes me think of some of the darker and more somber Duran Duran songs.
That said, I could have done without the admittedly and thankfully infrequent usage of autotune on the vocals. Lute FP
